Domino Qiu Qiu (also known as Domino 99 or Kiu Kiu) is an Indonesian gambling game played with dominoes. Players receive dominoes and bet based on their hand strength, similar to poker but using domino tiles instead of cards.

How do you calculate hand value?

Each half of your dominoes is worth its pip count (blank=0, 1=1, 2=2, etc.). Add all pips together and take the last digit (modulo 10). For example, if your total is 27, your hand value is 7. The highest regular hand is 9 (Qiu Qiu).

What are the special combinations in Domino Qiu Qiu?

From highest to lowest: 1. Six God (Enam Dewa): Four dominoes each showing 6 pips 2. Four Logs (Empat Balak): Four double dominoes 3. Pure Big (Murni Besar): Total pips 39-43 4. Pure Small (Murni Kecil): Total pips 6-9

What beats a Qiu Qiu (9)?

Any special combination beats a regular Qiu Qiu. So Six God, Four Logs, Pure Big, and Pure Small all beat a Qiu Qiu. Among regular hands, 9 is the highest.

If both players have the same type of hand (e.g., both have Qiu Qiu), the player with the highest individual domino wins. If still tied, the pot is split.
